This is my third year as the Physical Education teacher at Mathews Elementary. I am 26 years old and I was born in the small town of Douglas, Georgia. I graduated high school from Tift County High School in Tifton, Georgia. After high school I received a softball scholarship to Abraham Baldwin College, a junior college in Tifton, Georgia. I continued my education at Lander University, where I finished my last two years of softball. My first degree was in Exercise Science and my second degree was in Physical Education. I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my students! I love playing sports, especially softball and golf. My favorite college football team is the Georgia Bulldogs!! ABOUT MY CLASS My goal in Physical Education is for every child to be successful. I strive to do activities that are age and developmentally appropriate for each class. We learn about how important it is to live a healthy lifestyle. It means a lot to me for my students to have fun and to find an activity that they enjoy so they can stay active!!
